Rockville, Md. (April 15, 2022)—The American Physiological Society (APS) is pleased to announce a new cardiovascular webinar series in partnership with the European Council for Cardiovascular Research (ECCR) and InsideScientific, a life science research education company based in Ontario, Canada.

The collaboration will create educational programming throughout the year, focused on impactful translational cardiovascular research. Topics in the webinar series include:

  • spinal trauma and cardiovascular health;
  • microcirculatory pathophysiology and cognitive dysfunction;
  • sex and gender in cardiovascular research;
  • blood pressure regulation and novel therapies; and
  • regenerative therapies in cardiovascular medicine.

The partnership brings together the APS and ECCR community of talented basic and clinical cardiovascular scientists and InsideScientific’s experience presenting digital education programs.

“Forming partnerships with organizations such as ECCR allows APS to showcase our members to a broader international audience and to welcome international researchers into the APS community,” said APS Chief Community and Learning Officer Meeghan De Cagna, MSc, CAE. “We’re excited to take on new collaborations that complement our membership’s passions and attract new audiences.”
