Award Description

The Central Nervous System Section Van Harreveld Memorial Award recognizes outstanding research in neuroscience by graduate students, who participate in the American Physiology Summit.   

Eligibility

The applicant must:

  • be a graduate student
  • be a first author on an abstract related to the central or peripheral nervous system presented at the American Physiology Summit 
Criteria

The application package includes: 

  • abstract number and title,
  • name of first author on the abstract, 
  • topic category to which the abstract has been submitted,
  • copy of the submitted abstract, and 
  • curriculum vitae
