Who can apply: APS trainees at an academic institution or industry who are affiliated with the Physiological -Omics Group.
Award Description
The Physiological -Omics Interest Group Trainee Research Excellence Award recognizes outstanding trainees who have the potential to make meritorious contributions to the scientific areas represented by the Physiological -Omics Group.
Eligibility
The applicant must:
- be an APS member;
- be a trainee (e.g., high school, undergraduate, graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or equivalent); and
- be affiliated with the Physiological -Omics Group.
Applicants from all career sectors are encouraged to apply, e.g., academia, industry, government.
Criteria
The application package includes:
- PDF copy of the abstract submitted to an American Physiology Summit POG Foundational Science Session.
