New Trends in Sex Differences and Women's Health Research Conference

Award Description

The Martin Frank Travel Award program is designed to broaden the participation of those pursuing professional careers in physiological sciences. The program is intended to increase active participation in and networking at scientific meetings among trainees and early-career faculty who are either the first person in their family to receive a baccalaureate degree or come from an economically disadvantaged background.  

Specifically, the program provides travel awards to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early-career faculty members (within 5 years of obtaining a PhD) to attend the New Trends in Sex Differences and Women's Health Research.  

 

Eligibility

The Martin Frank Travel Awards are open to:

  • Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early-career faculty (recently transitioned; within 5 years of receiving a PhD).
  • Individuals who are either the first person in their family to earn a baccalaureate degree or come from an economically disadvantaged background. People from all racial and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants attending U.S. institutions and conducting research within the 50 States and U.S. Territories. 

Applications are only accepted via online submission.


Award at a Glance

Award : up to $1,500 in travel support for transportation and hotel
