Award Description

The Janet and Robert Speth Undergraduate Researcher Award encourages the interest of aspiring undergraduates in engaging in studies on neural control and autonomic regulation (NCAR) and support their participation at the American Physiology Summit. The award contributes toward travel expenses and registration costs to attend the Summit. This award was made possible by generous donations from Janet and Robert Speth. 

Eligibility

The applicant must:

  • be an undergraduate student who has submitted an abstract to an NCAR topic for presentation at American Physiology Summit.
Criteria

The application package includes:

  • copy of abstract submitted to an NCAR topic at the American Physiology Summit, and
  • letter of support from the applicant’s research mentor.
