What is the PhysioHub?

Located in the Long Beach Convention Center, the PhysioHub is the heart of the American Physiology Summit (#APS2024) experience. Each day, there will be new and exciting opportunities for scientific exchange, networking and collaboration.

In addition to the APS Homebase—your main touchpoint for the American Physiological Society (APS) and meeting information—the PhysioHub will be home to poster receptions, mini lounges and concessions. Four stages with content designed to move your work and career forward—including essential career skills like advocating for science, funding your research, educating your students and publishing your work—will also be in the PhysioHub.

All times listed are PDT.

What Can I Do in the PhysioHub?
  • When you enter the PhysioHub, the first thing you’ll see is the APS Homebase. Stop and chat with APS staff, shop the swag store and hear microtalks about opportunities to publish, present and participate with APS.
  • Learn about funding your science.
  • Attend our poster receptions on Friday and Saturday evening. These sessions will be a lively exchange of the most recent advances in physiology and related disciplines.
  • Commit time in your conference schedule to charting your future in science. Visit the PhysioHub’s four programming stages for professional development content—from publishing tips to exploring career paths.
