APS 2023 Call for Proposals

Call for Proposals 

The American Physiological Society invites you to submit session ideas for the American Physiology Summit 2023, to be held April 20–23, 2023, in Long Beach, California.

The 2023 Summit will feature 80 Foundational Science Sessions created from proposals submitted from the membership and our broader scientific community.

• We encourage nontraditional session formats and novel scientific concepts.
• Proposals should strive to be cross-disciplinary and diverse in institutional affiliation, career stage, age, race, gender and ethnicity.
• Proposals may be submitted with only a topic or speaker suggestion or fully developed sessions with speakers, and may be crowdsourced from submitted abstracts under a specific topic or theme.
• The American Physiology Summit Program Working Group will review proposals and will use suggested speakers and topics to create the final slate of cross-disciplinary sessions.
