Shape the 2027 American Physiology Summit Program

The American Physiological Society invites you to submit Foundational Science Session ideas for the 2027 American Physiology Summit, April 1–4, 2027, in Denver, Colorado. The Summit will feature 80 Foundational Science Sessions submitted by APS members and the broader scientific community. The Summit program is built by the field, for the field. Submit your proposal today!

Submission deadline: June 5.

Proposal Guidelines

• Novel session formats and emerging scientific concepts are encouraged.
• Proposals should be cross-disciplinary and represent diverse institutional affiliations, career stages and scientific perspectives.
• Proposals may be submitted with only a topic or speaker suggestion or fully developed sessions.
• The American Physiology Scientific Programming Committee will review proposals and will use suggested speakers and topics to create the final slate of cross-disciplinary sessions.
• Notice of acceptance will be sent in mid-August.
