The Westin San Diego Downtown is located in the heart of downtown San Diego near the Gaslamp Quarter and just three miles away from San Diego International Airport. The hotel is a short walk or trolley ride from top area attractions, such as the San Diego Convention Center, Little Italy, the Embarcadero and the San Diego Zoo.

The group room block is October 27–31, 2022. If you need a reservation for dates before or after the contracted dates, or if you need to book more than two rooms, please call the hotel directly at 619.239.4500 or 800.937.8461 to speak with a reservation agent. Single/double rooms are $169 per night plus applicable sales and local taxes, which are currently an occupancy tax of 10.605% and a San Diego Tourism Marketing District assessment of 2%. These rates are subject to change.

The $25 per night hotel facility fee has been waived for this conference. Hotel amenities in the conference room block include:

• round-trip airport transportation to and from San Diego International Airport, and

Confirmed reservations may be cancelled up to three days prior to the scheduled arrival date without penalty. Room reservations cancelled within three days of arrival will be billed for one night’s stay, including taxes. A credit card is required to hold the reservation.

• Additional protection: Booking at the conference hotel gives us the opportunity to assist you with any hotel problems you may experience while at the conference. When you choose other hotels, we have no contacts or leverage to help rectify a problem or inconvenience that you may encounter.

We will keep your information on file until a possible match has been received and will then put both parties in contact with each other to work out the details of making the housing reservation. APS does not make housing reservations.

San Diego is served by the San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is three miles from the hotel. All major airlines fly into the airport daily. Visit the San Diego International Airport website for more details.

The Santa Fe Depot is the main Amtrak hub in San Diego and the closest stop to the hotel. Visit the Amtrak website for schedules and information.

The Westin provides complimentary airport shuttle service from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. After retrieving your luggage in baggage claim, call the hotel at 619.239.4500 to make arrangements for pickup.

If you need a taxi from San Diego International Airport, follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A customer service representative will assist you with the first available taxi.

Uber and Lyft also serve the San Diego area. Download their apps and set up your account before arriving in San Diego if you choose to utilize their services.

All major car rental agencies service the San Diego International Airport. Off-airport rental car agencies are served by free shuttle service from multiple locations throughout the terminals.

Valet guest parking is available at the hotel for $53 a day and includes in and out privileges.
