The American Physiological Society (APS) and the organizers of the 2022 Control of Renal Function in Health and Disease conference take the health and safety of attendees and their guests seriously. All meeting attendees and guests will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the  World Health Organization (WHO), prior to arrival at the Madison Concourse Hotel. In addition, per local guidelines, attendees must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth while attending the ITL indoor events and sessions unless actively eating or drinking. See CDC guidelines on masks and mask-wearing.

APS has partnered with HealthShield/42Chat to verify participants’ vaccination status.

HealthShield/Chat42 will send a secure link via text message (SMS) to participants upon registration completion. The link will come from an 844.714.1887 number and will include instructions for uploading proof of vaccination

If you do not have a cell phone and/or cannot receive texts, please enter all zeros (0) in the required cell phone field. If HealthShield/42Chat cannot reach you via text message, APS will contact you about an alternative method to provide proof of vaccination.

Note: Cell phone numbers must be unique and cannot be re-used for multiple registrants. APS will collect your cell phone number during registration for vaccine validation purposes only.
