Call for Proposals
The American Physiological Society invites you to submit Foundational Science Session ideas for the 2026 American Physiology Summit, to be held April 23–26, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 2026 Summit will feature 80 Foundational Science Sessions submitted from APS members and our broader scientific community.
Submission deadline: June 6, 2025
- We encourage nontraditional session formats and novel scientific concepts.
- Proposals should strive to be cross-disciplinary and diverse in institutional affiliation, career stage, age, race, gender and ethnicity.
- Proposals may be submitted with only a topic or speaker suggestion or fully developed sessions with speakers and may be crowdsourced from submitted abstracts under a specific topic or theme.
- The American Physiology Scientific Programming Committee will review proposals and will use suggested speakers and topics to create the final slate of cross-disciplinary sessions.
- Notice of acceptance will be sent in mid-August.
