Poster Presentation Guidelines
Presenting a poster at the 2026 APS Control of Renal Function in Health and Disease conference? Here’s everything you need to know, from required dimensions and setup instructions to display guidelines and design tips, to ensure your poster is clear, engaging and ready for presentation.
Conference Registration is Required
All poster presenters must register for the Control of Renal Function in Health and Disease conference and present their poster during the assigned time.
Poster Display Schedule and Setup
Where to Find Your Poster Board
Each poster board will be marked with a unique number to indicate the placement of the poster. These numbers are to help you locate your assigned space. The poster board number and date of presentation will be communicated to presenters on or around March 20.
When to Set Up and Remove Your Poster
- Posters are viewable all day on your assigned presentation date.
- Mount your poster starting at 8 a.m. on the day of your presentation.
- Posters must be removed by 5 p.m. the same day.
Poster Size and Dimensions
The poster board surface area for your poster is 44 inches high and 44 inches wide.
Note: Presenters share a 90-inch-long board with another presenter.
Poster Design and Readability Guidelines
Help attendees easily engage with your research by following these best practices.
- Use a minimum font size of 28 points.
- Limit text to 600 words or less.
- Ensure content is readable from three feet away.
- Use large, clear print and headings.
- Make your message understandable without oral explanation.
