Award Description
The American Physiological Society (APS) International Travel Awards are open to APS members who are graduate students, postdoctoral fellows or early-career faculty.
This initiative is designed to assist with travel expenses incurred while attending the International Union of Physiological Societies (IUPS) Congress from September 11 to 14, 2025, in Frankfurt, Germany. APS will provide up to 10 awards for up to $1,000 in travel expense reimbursement.
Eligibility
The applicant must:
- Be an APS member in good standing for at least two consecutive years.
- Be a trainee (graduate student and postdoctoral fellow) or early career-level faculty within five years of receiving their PhD.
Criteria
The application package includes:
- A biosketch.
- One-page description of how this award will impact your career.
- Letter of support from your principal investigator, advisor, department chair, mentor or comparable leader.
Successful candidates are required to attend the 2025 IUPS Congress to receive the award.
