JustPhysiology is an online learning resource composed of interactive experiments powered by HumMod™, the world’s most complete model of integrative human physiology. JustPhysiology pairs an intuitive user interface with a faster-than-real-time mathematical model to allow instructors and students explore human physiology as never before. The webinar will show participants how to use JustPhysiology for in-class and self-paced activities with undergraduate, graduate and medical students.

Speakers

Speaker Headshots - Robert Hester - 200x200Robert L. Hester, PhD, FAPS, is the Billy S. Guyton Distinguished Professor in the Department of Physiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and director of UMMC’s Center for Computational Medicine. His work focuses on the development of HumMod™, a computer simulation of human physiology. Hester received his PhD in biomedical engineering jointly from Mississippi State University and UMMC. He is also CEO of HC Simulation, LLC, which has developed and licensed HumMod™ from UMMC.

Speaker Headshots - David Julian - 200x200David Julian, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Florida (UF), where he teaches cellular and systems physiology in the biomedical engineering program. Julian also directs the Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) and National Institutes of Health “Bridges to the Baccalaureate” programs at UF.
