Radmila Filipovic, PhD, will explain how educators may use visual learning tools to teach tutorials for teaching neuroanatomy to undergraduate and graduate students. Filipovic will share her experience and challenges for faculty and students. The webinar will provide examples of how to incorporate the learning exercises into curriculum. The ways in which these tools can help students better visualize and understand the structure and function of neuronal pathways and related pathophysiology will also be discussed.

Radmila Filipovic, PhD
Professor, University of Connecticut

Radmila Filipovic, PhD, is a professor in residence in the Department of Neurobiology and Physiology at the University of Connecticut (UConn). She earned her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Filipovic has a background in developmental neurobiology.  She serves as the academic director of UConn’s master's program in surgical neurophysiology and lab coordinator of the human physiology and anatomy course.
